Steps checked: 2026-10-13

Manage your products, stock and orders in LotsStore from Claude. Add LotsStore to Claude as a remote MCP server and sign in once.

MCP server URL: https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp
REST API docs: https://api.lotsstore.app/docs
Setup instructions for your agent: https://lotsstore.app/skill.md

## What you can do once connected

- Add and update products, variants, prices, categories and collections. New products start as drafts.
- Check and set stock for each variant.
- See new orders, accept or reject them, and mark them processing, shipped or delivered.
- Create and manage discount codes.
- Read your sales: revenue, orders, average order value and where visitors drop off.
- Look up customers, and moderate and reply to product reviews.
- Publish your storefront once you approve its address.

The LotsStore dashboard does the whole job on its own too: products, stock, orders, customers, discounts, payments and your storefront. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

## You need

- Any Claude plan: Free, Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise
- On Team and Enterprise, an owner adds it once under Organization settings, then Connectors (Add, then Custom, then Web), and each member connects it from Customize, then Connectors
- A LotsStore account. You can create one during sign-in.

## Connect Claude to LotsStore

1. **Open Connectors.** In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors. Select + Add and choose Add custom connector.

2. **Add LotsStore.** Name it LotsStore, paste the server URL and select Continue. Keep the sign-in settings Claude detects, select Continue again, then select Add.

```
```

3. **Sign in to LotsStore.** A LotsStore sign-in opens in your browser. Sign in with your email. New users can create an account during this step.

## What to ask next

- “Which orders are waiting for me to accept?”
- “We are out of the blue mug. Set its stock to 0 and tell me who ordered it this week.”
- “Add a summer tee in sizes S, M and L as a draft so I can check it before it goes live.”
- “How did my store do last week? Show revenue, orders and where visitors drop off.”

## Questions and troubleshooting

### How do I connect Claude to LotsStore?

Follow the Claude setup above to add https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp. Complete sign-in using the authentication method shown. Then ask “List my stores in LotsStore”.

### Is LotsStore in Claude’s connector directory?

Add LotsStore as a custom connector: in Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors, select + Add and choose Add custom connector. Paste the MCP URL and sign in to your LotsStore account.

### Do I need an API key to use LotsStore with Claude?

No. Claude signs in to LotsStore in your browser. API keys are for the REST API, for scripts and your own apps.

### What does LotsStore cost?

Current plans and prices are on https://lotsstore.app/pricing. Your agent’s own plan or usage fees are separate.

### Can my agent take payments or move money?

No. Shoppers pay straight into your own Stripe or Razorpay account, by UPI to your UPI ID, or by ordering on WhatsApp, and LotsStore never holds the money. Your agent never asks for card details or payment keys: you connect Stripe or Razorpay yourself.

### Can my agent delete my products or my store?

Your agent can delete a product or a category when you ask it to, and that cannot be undone, so it should confirm with you first. It cannot delete a store. The owner can archive one, which takes the storefront offline and stops billing for it, and restore it within 30 days.

### Where do I see what my agent changed?

Everything your agent does shows up in your LotsStore dashboard. You approve the connection when you sign in, and you can disconnect it at any time from connected apps.

### LotsStore tools do not appear in a chat

Select the + button at the lower left of the chat, open Connectors and switch LotsStore on for that conversation.

### New tools are missing after an update

Disconnect and reconnect the connector so Claude reloads the tool list.
