# Connect DeepSeek to LotsStore

Canonical page: https://lotsstore.app/agents/deepseek
Steps checked: 2026-10-01

Manage your products, stock and orders in LotsStore from DeepSeek. Add LotsStore to DeepSeek as a remote MCP server with an API key.

MCP server URL: https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp
REST API docs: https://api.lotsstore.app/docs

## What you can do once connected

- Add and update products, variants, prices, categories and collections. New products start as drafts.
- Check and set stock for each variant.
- See new orders, accept or reject them, and mark them processing, shipped or delivered.
- Create and manage discount codes.
- Read your sales: revenue, orders, average order value and where visitors drop off.
- Look up customers, and moderate and reply to product reviews.
- Publish your storefront once you approve its address.

The LotsStore dashboard does the whole job on its own too: products, stock, orders, customers, discounts, payments and your storefront. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

## You need

- DeepSeek Harness with the dsh-mcp-client package in your profile
- A LotsStore API key supplied through the LOTSSTORE_API_KEY environment variable
- A LotsStore account. You can create one during sign-in.

## Connect DeepSeek to LotsStore

1. **Register a remote MCP entry.** Add this entry to your DeepSeek Harness profile using its documented dsh-mcp-client configuration. Use the HTTP configuration below.

```
- id: mcp-lots-store
  name: '@deepseek-ai/dsh-mcp-client'
  config:
    serverName: lots-store
    transport: streamable-http
    url: https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp
    headers:
      Authorization: !!js '`Bearer ${process.env.LOTSSTORE_API_KEY}`'
```

2. **Supply the key and restart the harness.** Create a key at https://www.lotstech.com/api and store it securely in the runtime environment. After startup, tools appear under mcp__lots-store__. Confirm discovery with a read-only request before changing anything.

## What to ask next

- “Which orders are waiting for me to accept?”
- “We are out of the blue mug. Set its stock to 0 and tell me who ordered it this week.”
- “Add a summer tee in sizes S, M and L as a draft so I can check it before it goes live.”
- “How did my store do last week? Show revenue, orders and where visitors drop off.”

## Questions and troubleshooting

### How do I connect DeepSeek to LotsStore?

Follow the DeepSeek setup above to add https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp. Configure your LotsStore API key using the credential settings shown. Then ask “List my stores in LotsStore”.

### Does the DeepSeek chat app connect to LotsStore?

This guide covers DeepSeek Harness and its Streamable HTTP MCP client, not the DeepSeek consumer chat. Follow the steps above with a LotsStore API key.

### Do I need an API key to use LotsStore with DeepSeek?

Yes. Create one at https://www.lotstech.com/api and keep it out of chats, logs and committed files. Where DeepSeek offers sign-in, use that instead.

### What does LotsStore cost?

Current plans and prices are on https://lotsstore.app/pricing. Your agent’s own plan or usage fees are separate.

### Can my agent take payments or move money?

No. Shoppers pay straight into your own Stripe or Razorpay account, by UPI to your UPI ID, or by ordering on WhatsApp, and LotsStore never holds the money. Your agent never asks for card details or payment keys: you connect Stripe or Razorpay yourself.

### Can my agent delete my products or my store?

Your agent can delete a product or a category when you ask it to, and that cannot be undone, so it should confirm with you first. It cannot delete a store. The owner can archive one, which takes the storefront offline and stops billing for it, and restore it within 30 days.

### Where do I see what my agent changed?

Everything your agent does shows up in your LotsStore dashboard. You approve the connection when you sign in, and you can disconnect it at any time from connected apps.

### LotsStore tools are not available

Check that LotsStore is enabled for this session and authentication has completed. Reload the connection or start a new session to refresh its tools.
