Canonical page: https://lotsstore.app/agents/grok-build
Steps checked: 2026-10-01

Manage your products, stock and orders in LotsStore from Grok Build. Add LotsStore to Grok Build as a remote MCP server and sign in once.

MCP server URL: https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp
REST API docs: https://api.lotsstore.app/docs
Setup instructions for your agent: https://lotsstore.app/skill.md

## What you can do once connected

- Add and update products, variants, prices, categories and collections. New products start as drafts.
- Check and set stock for each variant.
- See new orders, accept or reject them, and mark them processing, shipped or delivered.
- Create and manage discount codes.
- Read your sales: revenue, orders, average order value and where visitors drop off.
- Look up customers, and moderate and reply to product reviews.
- Publish your storefront once you approve its address.

The LotsStore dashboard does the whole job on its own too: products, stock, orders, customers, discounts, payments and your storefront. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

## You need

- Grok Build with remote MCP support
- A LotsStore account. You can create one during sign-in.

## Connect Grok Build to LotsStore

1. **Add LotsStore.** Add the remote HTTP server from your terminal.

```
grok mcp add --transport http lots-store https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp
```

2. **Sign in.** Grok Build starts a browser sign-in for servers that use OAuth on first use. Complete the LotsStore sign-in; /mcps also offers authentication.

3. **Check the tools.** Ask your agent “List my stores in LotsStore” before asking it to change anything.

## What to ask next

- “Which orders are waiting for me to accept?”
- “We are out of the blue mug. Set its stock to 0 and tell me who ordered it this week.”
- “Add a summer tee in sizes S, M and L as a draft so I can check it before it goes live.”
- “How did my store do last week? Show revenue, orders and where visitors drop off.”
- “Add every product in products.csv in this repo to my store as a draft.”

## Questions and troubleshooting

### How do I connect Grok Build to LotsStore?

Follow the Grok Build setup above to add https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp. Complete sign-in using the authentication method shown. Then ask “List my stores in LotsStore”.

### Does LotsStore work with Grok Build?

Yes. Grok Build supports remote HTTP MCP servers with sign-in. Add https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp with the command in step 1 and finish the browser sign-in.

### Do I need an API key to use LotsStore with Grok Build?

No. Grok Build signs in to LotsStore in your browser. API keys are for the REST API, for scripts and your own apps.

### What does LotsStore cost?

Current plans and prices are on https://lotsstore.app/pricing. Your agent’s own plan or usage fees are separate.

### Can my agent take payments or move money?

No. Shoppers pay straight into your own Stripe or Razorpay account, by UPI to your UPI ID, or by ordering on WhatsApp, and LotsStore never holds the money. Your agent never asks for card details or payment keys: you connect Stripe or Razorpay yourself.

### Can my agent delete my products or my store?

Your agent can delete a product or a category when you ask it to, and that cannot be undone, so it should confirm with you first. It cannot delete a store. The owner can archive one, which takes the storefront offline and stops billing for it, and restore it within 30 days.

### Where do I see what my agent changed?

Everything your agent does shows up in your LotsStore dashboard. You approve the connection when you sign in, and you can disconnect it at any time from connected apps.

### LotsStore tools are not available

Check that LotsStore is enabled for this session and authentication has completed. Reload the connection or start a new session to refresh its tools.
