What Cue can do with LotsStore

Once connected, Cue can:

  • Add and update products, variants, prices, categories and collections. New products start as drafts.
  • Check and set stock for each variant.
  • See new orders, accept or reject them, and mark them processing, shipped or delivered.
  • Create and manage discount codes.
  • Read your sales: revenue, orders, average order value and where visitors drop off.
  • Look up customers, and moderate and reply to product reviews.
  • Publish your storefront once you approve its address.

The LotsStore dashboard does the whole job on its own too: products, stock, orders, customers, discounts, payments and your storefront. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

You need

  • Cue access with an agent computer
  • A LotsStore API key
  • A LotsStore account. You can create one during sign-in.

Connect Cue to LotsStore

  1. Create a LotsStore API key

Sign in to the Lots API dashboard and create a key for your agent.

    https://api.lotsstore.app/dashboard
  2. Ask Cue to use the LotsStore API

Give your agent the setup prompt below. Configure your key privately in its computer environment and ask it to start with a read-only request.

Use https://api.lotsstore.app/docs to connect LotsStore from your computer. Authenticate with my privately configured LOTSSTORE_API_KEY. First list my stores in LotsStore. Keep credentials out of chat and logs.
  3. Give the agent its responsibility

Say what the agent looks after in LotsStore, which source material it uses and how often it works. Ask it to report what it changed.

What to ask next

  • “Which orders are waiting for me to accept?”
  • “We are out of the blue mug. Set its stock to 0 and tell me who ordered it this week.”
  • “Add a summer tee in sizes S, M and L as a draft so I can check it before it goes live.”
  • “How did my store do last week? Show revenue, orders and where visitors drop off.”

If something goes wrong

Cue cannot authenticate to LotsStore
Check that the API key is available on the computer doing the task. LotsStore API requests use an Authorization header containing Bearer followed by a space and the key.
How do I set up a recurring routine in Cue?
Set the routine on the Cue agent responsible for the work. Include the source material and ask for a report. LotsStore handles each request the agent makes.

Cue and LotsStore: questions

How do I connect Cue to LotsStore?

Use the LotsStore REST API from Cue’s computer. Create an API key at https://api.lotsstore.app/dashboard, configure it privately for the task and share https://api.lotsstore.app/docs with your agent. Ask it for something read-only first.

Can I connect LotsStore to Cue today?

Use the REST API from your Cue agent’s computer, following the setup above. Create a LotsStore API key, configure it privately for the agent and share https://api.lotsstore.app/docs. Then ask Cue for something read-only first.

Do I need an API key to use LotsStore with Cue?

Yes. Create one at https://api.lotsstore.app/dashboard and keep it out of chats, logs and committed files. Where Cue offers sign-in, use that instead.

What does LotsStore cost?

Current plans and prices are on https://lotsstore.app/pricing. Your agent’s own plan or usage fees are separate.

Can my agent take payments or move money?

No. Shoppers pay straight into your own Stripe or Razorpay account, by UPI to your UPI ID, or by ordering on WhatsApp, and LotsStore never holds the money. Your agent never asks for card details or payment keys: you connect Stripe or Razorpay yourself.

Can my agent delete my products or my store?

Your agent can delete a product or a category when you ask it to, and that cannot be undone, so it should confirm with you first. It cannot delete a store. The owner can archive one, which takes the storefront offline and stops billing for it, and restore it within 30 days.

Where do I see what my agent changed?

Everything your agent does shows up in your LotsStore dashboard. You approve the connection when you sign in, and you can disconnect it at any time from connected apps.
