What Kimi K3 can do with LotsStore

Once connected, Kimi K3 can:

  • Add and update products, variants, prices, categories and collections. New products start as drafts.
  • Check and set stock for each variant.
  • See new orders, accept or reject them, and mark them processing, shipped or delivered.
  • Create and manage discount codes.
  • Read your sales: revenue, orders, average order value and where visitors drop off.
  • Look up customers, and moderate and reply to product reviews.
  • Publish your storefront once you approve its address.

The LotsStore dashboard does the whole job on its own too: products, stock, orders, customers, discounts, payments and your storefront. Your agent for speed, the dashboard for control.

You need

  • Kimi Code CLI with access to Kimi K3
  • This setup covers Kimi Code’s MCP client, not a native connector in the Kimi consumer chat
  • A LotsStore account. You can create one during sign-in.

Connect Kimi K3 to LotsStore

  1. Add LotsStore in Kimi Code

Run /mcp-config to add a remote HTTP server, or merge this entry into ~/.kimi-code/mcp.json. Preserve any existing servers.

    { "mcpServers": { "lots-commerce": { "url": "https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp" } } }
  2. Sign in with OAuth

Complete authorization in the browser using Kimi Code’s own command.

    /mcp-config login lots-commerce
  3. Start a new session and verify tools

Newly added servers join new sessions. Check /mcp, then ask Kimi “List my stores in LotsStore” before changing anything.

What to ask next

  • “Which orders are waiting for me to accept?”
  • “We are out of the blue mug. Set its stock to 0 and tell me who ordered it this week.”
  • “Add a summer tee in sizes S, M and L as a draft so I can check it before it goes live.”
  • “How did my store do last week? Show revenue, orders and where visitors drop off.”

Kimi K3 and LotsStore: questions

How do I connect Kimi K3 to LotsStore?

Follow the Kimi K3 setup above to add https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp. Complete sign-in using the authentication method shown. Then ask “List my stores in LotsStore”.

Is there a LotsStore connector in the Kimi app?

This guide uses Kimi Code’s MCP client. Add https://api.lotsstore.app/mcp there and sign in; it is not a native connector in the Kimi consumer chat.

Do I need an API key to use LotsStore with Kimi K3?

No. Kimi K3 signs in to LotsStore in your browser. API keys are for the REST API, for scripts and your own apps.

What does LotsStore cost?

Current plans and prices are on https://lotsstore.app/pricing. Your agent’s own plan or usage fees are separate.

Can my agent take payments or move money?

No. Shoppers pay straight into your own Stripe or Razorpay account, by UPI to your UPI ID, or by ordering on WhatsApp, and LotsStore never holds the money. Your agent never asks for card details or payment keys: you connect Stripe or Razorpay yourself.

Can my agent delete my products or my store?

Your agent can delete a product or a category when you ask it to, and that cannot be undone, so it should confirm with you first. It cannot delete a store. The owner can archive one, which takes the storefront offline and stops billing for it, and restore it within 30 days.

Where do I see what my agent changed?

Everything your agent does shows up in your LotsStore dashboard. You approve the connection when you sign in, and you can disconnect it at any time from connected apps.
